After being greeted by our guide, the tour begins with a visit to the Alexander the Great Castle, dating from the 4th century BC. The site of the castle, Pagos Hill, overlooks the entire city with a superb view of the ancient Agora, a very well preserved Roman market-place.

Our next stop is the Archaeological Museum with artifacts from old Smyrna and Ephesus. We then proceed to the 98 year-old Clock Tower in the center of a square in Izmir and the defining monument of the city.

We drive to Karsiyaka, the residential area of the city, before crossing the bay by boat and visiting Kemeralti, the Old Bazaar with over 2,000 shops.

Our tour ends at your hotel.

Please note: A minimum of 2 participants is required for this excursion between November 1st and March 31st.
