Drive to the ruins of Troy and visit this legendary city of Homeros with his two epic poems "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey". The city is also linked with the German Excavator "Schliemann", who discovered Troy here by using the topographical data found in Homer. When he discovered golden, silver and bronze vessels, cups, diadems and earrings, it was the sensation of the age. The city of Troy is consisting of nine settlements strata in the same hill of Hisarlik and the first settlement is dating to 3000 BC. On the way back visit to the very interesting Archaeological Museum in Çanakkale.
