Karum Business and Shopping Center was planned together with the project
of the Sheraton Hotels and Towers in 1986 by Koray-Kavala Investor Group.
After a five-year period of construction, Karum became functioning in
the October of 1991 with the motto of "A NEW CENTER IN ANKARA".
Its design was
by Von Gerkan, Marg and Partners, architecture was by group Seyas, and
it was built by Koray Construction Industry Inc.
The construction
site of our business centre is 62.000 m². 12.000 m² of this area is
a parking area, 23.000 m² of it is the lobby and 27.000 m² of it is
rentable shopping and office spaces. The building has nine floors; three
of them (ground, first and second floor) function as the shopping floors,
4 of them function as office floors and the other 2 floors function
as the car park and the place where installation facilities are performed.
The building has four main entrances and fire scape stairs throughout
the building. The eliptical atrium placed in the centre is the most
significant feature of our architecture.
In Karum Business
and Shopping Centre, there is an x-ray at the entrance, 3000 kw transformer,
a generator of 2500 kw, central heating, ventilation and cooling groups,
8 human and 2 load elevators, four escalating stairs, an illumination
system functioning according to outdoor light rate, a central fire alarm
system and overall music broadcasting.

gifts, bags, shoes, cosmetics, Bank, watch, travel agencies, sport shops,
Music, electronic and food . Shopping without problem A shopping center,
which doesn't make you have problem about finding a carpark, has all

shopping center which make you feel the pleasure of doing shopping and
gives you extra time. It is possible to find many kinds of products
in 368 shops take place in the basement and 2 more floors. It offers
