 Capitol,
built on the Asian shores of Istanbul, is a state-of the-art shopping
mall and entertainment center, easily accessible from all parts of the
city. The many outlets in this six-story building offer the best of
Turkish shopping, with bargains to be found in a wide variety of goods
including off-the-rack clothing, sportswear and equipment, jewellery
and gifts. There is also an international beauty parlour. The focal
point of Capitol, the Agora, is the frequent location for fashion shows,
maybe a live floorshow, or a concert. This area is surrounded by cafeterias
and fast-food stalls, and a high-tech video wall, featuring foreign
programmes, music channels and local news. The top floor houses Capitol's
Entertainment Center, Saturn, with entertainment for all ages including
bowling, video games, four cinemas and a children 's center.
